The Admission Assurance Workshop is the creation of The Ivy Coach Founder and President Bev Taylor, one of the most respected professionals in the field of college counseling.
Bev Taylor, Founder & President of The Ivy Coach, is internationally recognized as a dynamic and highly respected educational consultant in the field of college admissions. She is frequently quoted in national magazines and major newspapers, as well as radio, television and Internet broadcasts, including U.S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Fox TV News, National Public Radio (NPR), The New York Times, Forbes Magazine, TheStreet.com, and many others.
She has also addressed audiences both in the United States and abroad, on topics such as: "Finding the College that's the Right Fit," "The College Admissions Process," "Examining the Application - The College Application Case Study," "Helping Students to Write Powerful College Essays," "Writing Inspiring Letters of Recommendation" and "How to Make the Most of the College Visit and Interview."
Bev Taylor holds a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling, and a Professional Diploma in Counseling, Psychology and Research in Education. A New York state certified school counselor, she has worked in the field of college consulting for the past 17 years, and as a high school guidance counselor for 12 years. She is also a member of NACAC (National Association of College Admissions Counseling), and the New York State Association for College Admissions Counseling (NYSACAC).
To provide the best possible service to her students, Bev Taylor stays current with admissions trends and campus programs by attending regional and national conferences on college admissions. She continually travels to colleges across the country and abroad to stay up-to-date on current admissions trends, and on how decisions are made in regard to prospective students. She has personally visited with admissions staffs at hundreds of colleges.
